Meghan's Flight
At age 15 Meghan, in her hang-gliding evaluation, blew right past the Hang 1 designation and graduated with a Hang 2. I had already flown down to the LZ and as I stood there looking 2000 feet up at Meghan's launch, I wondered, "What the hell kind of father am I?" In addition to performing all the required maneuvers, she made a picture-perfect landing. I ran up to hug her with tears running down my cheeks. There is no way a father could be any prouder.
